From today our new book – „Your Business on the Internet. The handbook of E-marketing” is available in every newsagent and book store in Poland. The publication – prepared by MaxROY.com team – has one of the highest circulation (if not the highest one) in the history of Polish e-business publications, with over 20 thousand copies. This is the first book widely distributed – available at any newsagent – thanks to Axel Springer Poland, the publisher of Newsweek, Forbes and many more. We have decided to show the behind the scenes of the writing process of the book’s content.
At the beginning of September 2009 Jerzy Łabuda, the leading editor of Axel Springer Poland, phoned us with a proposal of writing a book. The offer has proved to be a real challenge – to write a book within a month! But after all – we are an agile enterprise!
Thanks to the collaboration of MaxROY.com team the book has been written on time.
The team which has prepared the book consists of six experts from the company: Tomasz Frontczak, Cezary Lech, Bartosz Berliński, Mikołaj Adamczak, Paweł Chwalibóg and Rafał Kowalewski. It was a killing pace, parallel work on several chapters… Working with editorial office of Axel Springer Poland we have learned how the big publisher works. He treats the deadline as everyday life and doing a few things at a time is nothing unusual for him. Finishing one chapter, adding something to the next one, updating pictures, discussing the final title and preparing materials for additional CD – that is what the big publisher must daily do.
What excited us most during the work was the perspective of the publication range. The book „Your Business on the Internet. The handbook of E-marketing” is probably the largest publication in the history of Polish books on E-business and Internet marketing! (we have checked bestsellers of Helion – the biggest Polish publisher, who edits books on marketing and the new media – and none of the previous publications had such an effort. Please, correct it in comments if it is not true)
More than 20 thousand copies are available in the chain of Polish press providers all around the country – such an edition has never existed before in the history of Polish editions on search marketing.
Tomasz Frontczak had the same unique experience while working on his previous book – Internet Marketing in Search Engines (with total edition of 5 thousand copies) in 2006 – the first book published on the Polish Market .

Two months after signing the contract and sending the initial outline, the book is available on the bookstores. We were surprised with the quality of the edition – large format, hard cover, art, colored paper. Also, the price is affordable: 24,90 PLN (5,83 EUR / $8,60).
